Our franchise owners don’t have to have swimming or business experience.
What is provided as part of the Hudson Valley Swim franchise program?
When you become an owner with us, you get access to a franchise model designed to reduce investment costs and be easily repeatable, a team of industry experts, and targeted support to help you build your business and expand the brand.
How much will the Hudson Valley Swim franchise swim business cost me?
The estimated initial start-up cost to open a Hudson Valley Swim Franchise ranges from $98,345 to $131,495 which includes the initial franchise fee.
Is financing available?
We do not work directly with owners to finance their franchise, but we may refer you to specific financing sources on a case-by-case basis.
What is the Royalty fee?
8% of Gross Sales.
What is the local advertising and marketing costs?
There is a $3,000 minimum monthly local advertising and marketing investment expenditure. Hudson Valley Swim reserves the right to charge the brand fund fee.
What is the term of the agreement?

What type of marketing support will I receive?
We have designed and defined a multi-tiered marketing program, using our own decades of knowledge and first-hand experience operating swim schools.
Do you permit franchise owners to purchase more than one Hudson Valley Swim franchise?
We offer an Area Developer Program for franchise owners who wish to open multiple locations. Area Developers receive an exclusive area in which they are permitted to open additional Hudson Valley Swim franchises over an agreed-upon time period.
Do you permit absentee owners?
We permit semi-absentee owners who hire a manager to manage daily operations. However, Franchise Owners are responsible for overseeing the franchise business and being regularly involved, especially in back-office operations. Both the Franchise Owner and their manager(s) are required to attend the initial training program.
How long does it take to open a Hudson Valley Swim franchise?
We estimate that the time required to open your franchise following the signing of your Franchise Agreement will be three to four months. Some factors that may affect this include your ability to obtain any required licenses and permits, completion of initial training, pool selection, and hiring and training instructors.
Do you offer a discount on the franchise fee to veterans?
Yes! Our Salute to Service program offers a 20% franchise fee discount off the franchise fee for the initial territory, to U.S. Armed Forces veterans who have been honorably discharged.
If I do not meet the minimum financial qualifications, am I permitted to partner with a qualified individual?
Yes, provided your partner owns at least 50% of your franchise business.
Do you assist Franchise Owners in identifying and selecting swimming pools to conduct lessons?
To ensure you select the right pool(s) for your Hudson Valley Swim franchise, we assist and guide you to confirm the proposed pool(s) meets our criteria. We also work with Fitness International, Inc. to conduct Hudson Valley Swim classes at their locations — if you live in an area with an available LA Fitness or Esporta that has a pool, we can help you obtain access to it.
