We are thrilled to welcome Kaitlin and Eric Detweiler to the Hudson Valley Swim family! The husband-and-wife team will be opening two new locations in eastern New Hampshire—bringing our mission of water safety and skill-building to even more families across the Seacoast.
In July, Kaitlin and Eric will launch a seasonal location in Lee and a year-round location in Rochester, NH.
Both born and raised in New Hampshire, Kaitlin and Eric met in college and have built a life centered around service and community. With backgrounds in emergency healthcare—Eric as a paramedic and firefighter, and Kaitlin as a trauma nurse—they bring a deep understanding of the importance of water safety.
“We chose Hudson Valley Swim because it is family-owned and operated,” they shared. “We value being part of a team who truly care about the mission of teaching children swim safety.”
As new swim school owners, they are most excited to build a trusted, community-based program that local families can count on.
Outside of work, the Detweilers are proud parents to three girls and love spending time camping and enjoying the outdoors together.
We are honored to have Kaitlin and Eric leading the way in New Hampshire and look forward to the positive impact they will make on the families and communities they serve.
